Heading towards Wellington after finishing up at Rocking Horse in Ocala, Florida. Johnny did not appreciate how close the dressage arena was to the highway at Rocking Horse, and it showed in his dressage score. We’ll see how he runs at Wellington, which is a more enclosed space.
Lucky Number Seven placed second in open novice with a 25.7. Bright Water aka Teddy has come along for a field trip, and I’m going to enter him in a couple of jumper classes while in Wellington.
I’m really excited to have Corteo with me, who is coming back after an injury two years ago. I’m been taking my time with this one, as he has so much potential and I wanted to make sure is was nice and strong before returning to competition. Bringing him with me is just the first step in preparing him to cope with these types of new environments.
