In this webinar, Elisa and Tabitha will break down the science behind camelina oil, share practical feeding strategies for competition horses, and answer common questions about incorporating it into your horse’s routine. Whether you’re managing a high-performance eventer or simply looking to optimize your horse’s diet, this session will give you the tools to feed smarter.

Tabitha Smith
Tabitha Smith has been around horses all of her life starting her riding career at the age of 3 while still in Germany. Shortly before moving to the states with her dad her interest in riding switched over to the western industry and the early introduction to reining in Germany.
As horses have always been a part of her life and she has always been the type to work on finding solutions to problems she has come across it was not a surprise that when she found a hold in the supplement world she went on a mission to fill that hold and then need for horses and dogs. That is how Excel Supplements was born 14 years ago.
Something she has really taken a lot of pride on is that the Excel Supplements products are literally part of her every day life. From her breeding program to the performance horses and to the She Rides Community ….. It has always been focused on what is best for the horse and she is beyond proud to say that Excel Supplements is truly one of those things……best for the horse.

Feeding the Microbiome: Whole-Food Nutrition & Gut Health
Featuring Mary Hartman (Founder, StableFeed)
Join five-star eventer Elisa Wallace and Mary Hartman, founder of StableFeed, for a wide-ranging conversation about the foundation of equine health: the gut. More and more, we’re learning that a horse’s wellbeing — from coat and hooves to immunity, behavior, and performance — begins with a balanced microbiome and the quality of what goes in the feed bucket.
In this webinar, Elisa and Mary explore a whole-food approach to nutrition, the role of the microbiome in overall health, and how minimally processed, purposeful ingredients can make a real difference in the horses we care about. Mary will share the story behind Stablefeed and what she’s learned about feeding for health from the inside out. Whether you’re managing performance horses or simply want to feed your horse better, this conversation offers a fresh perspective on nutrition that works.

Mary Hartman`
Mary Hartman is the founder and CEO of Stablefeed, an equine feed and supplement company based in Kasson, Minnesota. A lifelong horse lover, she set out to solve a problem in her own barn — and ended up building a business.
In 2017, Mary began making chia biscuits for a dressage horse struggling with serious gastrointestinal issues. The horse’s health turned around, and once her vet, trainer, and fellow boarders saw the difference, they started asking her to make products for them too. What began as a homemade supplement has since grown into a thriving company.
Today, Stablefeed is known for its whole-food chia supplements and for championing sainfoin, a protein-rich legume Mary calls “the forage of the future.” In 2025, she was recognized as the Agricultural Utilization Research Institute’s Ag Innovator of the Year for her natural, systems-focused approach to equine health.
